Last week I was lucky enough to attend a show for New York Fashion Week for work. It was so fun and super fast paced. Seriously, I never realized how short runway shows actually are, and everything goes faster when you’re trying to take photos, edit, and live tweet all at the same time. We stayed at the TRYP by Wyndham Times Square South which was really cute, and very convenient to the show location and Penn Station.
NYFW – Day
The day of the show I had some free time to walk around and explore the High Line and Chelsea Market. I’ve been wearing this Madewell (via Ebay) vest a ton the last couple of months, and have found it to be surprisingly versatile.
NYFW – Night
I knew I had to wear black (duh) to the actual show, but I also wanted to wear something pretty simple since I was technically working. I actually didn’t spend too much time worrying about my outfit, as I knew what I wanted to wear pretty much right away. This top is another purchase that I’ve been wearing a lot this summer and works in basically any situation, so I knew it would be perfect. I also needed to wear comfortable shoes, so I went with the J. Crew Anya ballet flats instead of heels.
